Communications Support for LOGCAP II, III, and IV

For over two decades, our team has supported the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP), providing critical communications services to U.S. military and diplomatic missions under LOGCAP II, III, and IV. Our expertise was instrumental in enabling reliable connectivity for over 3,500 users across Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Bahrain, including the U.S. Department of Defense, the Department of State, and the United States Embassy in Iraq.

To extend the KBR corporate network into challenging operational environments, we deployed over twenty 2.4m and 3.8m VSAT terminals, complemented by Cisco routers, switches, and wireless point-to-point (P2P) and point-to-multipoint (P2MP) links to remote locations. These networks ensured seamless voice and data communications between field units and headquarters in the United States.

Adhering to stringent corporate-level security templates, our team deployed secure voice and data networks across multiple locations. Leveraging Cisco VoIP and VTC (Video Teleconferencing), we ensured secure communications between remote sites and corporate locations in the U.S., Dubai and the U.K. To optimise bandwidth over high-cost VSAT links, we also deployed the latest RiverBed data compression technologies.

Our team implemented end-to-end optical fibre, copper, and wireless connectivity in various environments, overcoming challenges such as hostile attacks from militia and terrorist organisations, limited line-of-sight, and harsh terrain. This included deploying aerial and trenched fibre solutions and enabling wireless connectivity for emergency large-scale deployments, ensuring reliable communications during critical operations.

With a round-the-clock technical support team using the latest monitoring software, we tracked all network nodes and data flows to maintain operational integrity. Despite weather challenges, power fluctuations, and external threats, our technicians ensured uninterrupted communications from the field.
